Constitutional Protection? Yes, But Not For Teachers.

State Rep. Elaine Nekritz (D) of Northbrook stated for the Chicago Tribune, “”There are no absolutes in the state constitution or the U.S. Constitution.”

The human corruption known as elected legislators is out of control.

Some legislators carry little copies of the U.S. Constitution with itty-bitty fonts in the suit pockets over their hearts, since it is sacred.

Sacred? The written word of the one true God? They “quote” anything they want and claim that it’s all there as they raise aloft the tiny tome in sacred consecration.

Diane Ravitch in Harper’s Magazine

In the October issue of Harper’s Magazine a cover story, “PBS Self-Destructs: and what it means to viewers like you” by Eugenia Williamson, describes the full history of the takeover of Public Broadcasting by the Koch Brothers, Bloomberg, the Gates Foundation and other billionaire owned and controlled corporations and their tax-free foundations.

Politics, Cancer, CCSS, Teachers, Children and Voting

Diane Ravitch, FUD, and you

As a child Diane Ravitch must have been a wiz at those connect-the-dots pages. Today she is dedicated to teaching us as all how to connect-the-dots. First, Diane tells us to try to see the whole picture to get a general idea of where things are and where they are going. In one of her eye-opener blogs titled “Understanding the Propaganda Campaign Against Public Education” she tells us of when she first learned that FUD is a marketing technique meant to cause harm. FUD is an acronym for Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. (Google it.) FUD is a vile propaganda strategy used for the destruction of any competitor.
