Jonathan Pelto

Jonathan Pelto is a blogger and advocacy journalist based in Connecticut. Jonathan served as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from 1984-1993. After leaving the legislature, he formed Impact Strategies Inc., Connecticut’s first stand-alone issue advocacy company. His clients included many of Connecticut’s leading progressive organizations, unions and associations, as well as the University of Connecticut and the Mohegan Tribal Nation. Over the years he has also managed or worked on numerous political campaigns at the national, state and local level. In 2011, he turned to blogging and his blog, Wait, What? is now the most read commentary site in the Connecticut.
